As the Primitivo, it is useful if the tie is not long enough or if the ends are not wide enough. The overall result, however, is more regular and less lively.

The legs are twisted tightly and therefore you do not run the risk that they fly during the heat of hunting on the horseback. This knot was then substituted by the today’s hunting tie.

  Another way to use a ring with a kerchief or tie.   It was very popular with Roman de Tirtoff, in art “Ertè”.

It’s a case of a double bow here. The first one is done by tying the tie into a bow and the second one by using the loose ends to create another bow.
