    This simple way to wear a scarf needs no knot; it is generally used with evening gowns, partly out of habit and partly to not ruin a starched collar or bow tie.

  Similar to the Half-mast but in addition to the normal knot we create another below the collar. It may come in handy with a particularly long tie.

  Here too, it’s best to have the same size ends.  The knot is an upside down cone and gives the impression of a tie put on the wrong way. It’s very easy to do and is vaguely similar to Gordano’s Bonjour tristesse.

  Could be the extreme-measure solution for someone having to wear a tuxedo but doesn’t have an Ascot tie. Basically you tie a knot, both ends of which must be the same width.

  From the back, it looks like a normal tie knot… actually it has its own independence:  it’s called this because it is shown in an advertisement published by Vismara, a tie maker inMilan.
