Federica Brignone
Semi-beginner Champion
Pushed by the Sun and the Moon
Things – historical, geographic and especially current – we Italians are really good at every type of slalom – especially the giant slalom.
No one can beat us in the slalom; we are constantly pumping out champions.
The most recent one is a 20-year-old with a name that seems a predestination: Federica.
Like Pellegrini.
Federica Brignone (born in Milan on July 14, 1990), daughter of Maria Rosa Quario (4-time World Cup winner), won – almost as a newcomer – the Silver Medal at the recent World Championships of Garmish.
