The Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica is the film festival that takes place annually in Venice, Italy (usually between the end of August and beginning of September) in the historic Palazzo del Cinema, along Lungomare Marconi, at Lido di Venezia. It is world’s oldest film festival (the first edition took place in 1932).

In 2012 at the 69^th edition, the festival was part of the larger backdrop of the Biennale di Venezia, a cultural event that includes the famous International Modern Art. The 69^th edition took place August 29 – September 8, 2012.
