JOAN WASSER, A GENEROUS HEART AND A MOON-LIKE VOICE
THE VENUS-VIRGO OF INDIE POP
The Leo appears and we feel embarrassed because its gaze does not always show how close we may approach, and what type of song it will sing when it opens its jaws.
But when Joan Wasser – better known as Joan As Police Woman, who recently toured Italy – born on the 26th of July 1970 in Maine, opens her mouth she does not frighten, she enchants, because a Leo with a Gibson, a violin and that voice can only make you fall in love.
Her Indie Rock may be heard on the three CDs which made her famous, Real Life (2006), To Survive (2008) and the latest The Deep Field (2011).
