Its effect is similar to that of the Boater, however in this instance the knot is of smaller proportions and the tie is purposely cut in a bottle-like shape to create a wider effect where it exits the knot.

  To create this highly compressed, long knot one needs a narrow, soulless tie. Moreover, the fabric must be lightweight to allow the knot to be tightened properly.

  Its main feature is the conical cylinder knot relatively tight from which it comes out a vaporous leg that expands quickly. It’s a dandy tie from the early twentieth century.

  Here as well, we have a bow tie characterized by only one bow and a single extremity, which are however grouped on the same side of the knot.
