The apparently normal knot requires the bowtie to be sufficiently wide to be folded in half length wise. This allows to achieve a more opulent and dynamic effect.

Its main characteristic is its looseness and therefore the ability to be easily adjusted at will. A plain cut, devoid of any particular shapes is essential for this type of bowtie.

It is the rarest and more unusual of the bowtie cuts. In reality though, it is actually a very simple and effective solution.

This is a rather peculiar shape and relatively unknown after the thirties. It is a fairly tall type of bowtie with drop shaped extemities.

Here is the bowtie –small butterfly- par excellence: the angularity of the “Sanremo” combined with an asymmetric shape create, once tied, the illusion of a butterfly about to fly off.
