MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE.

With colors – especially the colors we wear – people have always expressed much more than a simple choice of taste and decoration.

Taste and decoration reflect customs and beliefs, in terms of religious meaning and economic standing.

The color of clothing is an expression of the individual who is wearing it and the society to wich s/he belongs.

The man who painted his skin red did so for a reason: to ennoble his appearence, frighten enemies, or declare his social supremacy.

When civilization began and history started its course, clothing and its colors took on this fundamental cultural function.
