In 2003 “Music Master Class” (Leçon de musique) modeled after “Cinema Class” was created, allowing the best composers of film music to meet with the audience, and in 2004 “Acting Master Class” (Leçon d’acteur), also involving the actors in these encounters.

The Festival’s most prestigious award is without a doubt the Palme d’Or which recognizes the best film. Among other awards awarded by the Festival jury, comprised of a number of professionals of the cinema world, is the particularly coveted Grand Prix (a type of second prize awarded to works deserving special mention).
