CANNES FESTIVAL/1

The Cannes Festival (Festival de Cannes is the official name since 2002, formerly known as the Festival International du Film de Cannes) is a film festival which takes place every year in May in the city ofCannes and lasts about two weeks.

Due to the fact that it guarantees incredible media coverage, many movie stars attend the Festival, going down the walkway (Montée des Marches) of the entrance to the screening room.

Many producers choose this event to launch their latest works and sell rights to distributors who come from all over the world.
