MIYAKE/2

clothing, artists, history

The result is an array of comfortable, crease-resistant clothing which is ideal for modern globetrotters. Today the editor Taschen retraces the history of this project with a 600-page monograph, going over the genesis and development of this technique and the joint efforts with the artists which rendered it: from photographer Araki, to Tim Hawkinson all the way to Yasumasa Morimura, who retrieved a painting by Ingres.
